How AlphaStor works

AlphaStor's backup service is built on the back of state-of-the-art technology. A true client/server solution. A small client program is installed on your computer and can be scheduled, configured to backup on shutdown or run manually.

The system determines what has to be backed up, compresses and then encrypts the data, makes a connection to one of our secured servers and then performs the backup.

The use of Encryption, Fastbit, private tunnels and security all utilise the latest technology to make the AlphaStor backup service safe, secure, reliable and fast.

AlphaStor works on any Windows-based computer that has a standard Internet connection and is perfect for backing up servers, laptops and multiple desktop pc's.

You will generally back up your critical dynamic data, ie. accounting information, documents and applications that are specific to you business etc. and the average business will need about 1 to 1.5GB of compressed disk space for backups.

AlphaStor provides 2GB of compressed disk space as the standard business package so you won't have to worry about upgrading any time soon.
